Early Beginnings and Professional Journey
When Huening Kai was eight, his family moved from the US to South Korea. He began his professional career in the music industry with BigHit Entertainment after spending several years as a trainee. In 2019, he made his debut as part of Tomorrow X Heuning Kai’s, becoming the first foreign performer to debut under BigHit. Kai was the third member to be introduced to TXT in January 2019.
